Review Round Table Quotes Clips Photos

After the horror of Eli David and Jackie Vance's deaths, the team works hard to figure out who was behind the shooting.  The threat of war hinges on the outcome of the investigation, as Iran is implicated.  Meanwhile, Ziva wants only one thing: revenge for her father's death.

Episode Number:

also featured as the one who could do no wrong & was always pointing out Tony's faults. So obviously this is how the writers want to write him. Everyone has their role so sit back & enjoy it & stop letting it bother you so much. I am all for differing opinions but when you continue to bash one person over & over again perhaps it is time for you to move on.

Wow, hate much?!? People need to get a grip. Life will go on when all is said & done & NCIS is no longer on the air. What will you complain about then? Such rubbish. If this show is ruined that much, stop watching it. I am not going to sit there and whine when other characters are featured in an episode. I have never once thought of Mark Harmon as the supporting player in this show. Obviously the creators don't either since he makes $500,000. per episode & Cote only makes about $120,000. If GG is writing more for her it's because he appreciates her skill as an actress. Tptb have all said that the majority of shows are focused on Tony, Ziva & Gibbs. The other characters have always been supporting players. Since season 1 Ducky, Abby, Palmer, McGee and whomever was playing the director have had smaller parts in the episodes. Lauren Holly was barely on in season 5. And Sasha Alexander's Kate was featured in seasons 1 & 2 just as much as Ziva is now. She was also featured as the one who could do no wrong & was always pointing out Tony's faults. So obviously this is how the writers want to write him. Everyone has their role so sit back & enjoy it & stop letting it bother you so much. I am all for differing opinions but when you continue to bash one person over & over again perhaps it is time for you to move on.

@ Simple - not really - it used to be a team driven show. Now the characters solve cases in their spare time from worrying about, admiring, and taking in Ziva's superior pearls of wisdom, amidst her many tragedies and mysteries.

Sorry but the only word that comes to mind is "WHATEVER." NCIS is a team driven show. :)

The show has indeed become ZCIS and Tony has become a supporting character to Gibbs and Ziva's leads. While Ziva has had written a BFF/empathy scene with other team members and guest stars in nearly every episode this season, Tony's only deep moment scenes have been written with Ziva. Tony got the usual one and done, as did Ducky, with McGee's and Abby's coming up. Ziva gets a heavily promoted, with spoiled character deaths, multi episode arc which "will carry us through to the end of the season". Great - 4 months of ongoing poor victim Ziva drama. Tony has been completely marginalized and his only two purposes on the show are to provide humor and be the "t" of tIVA - which is really all about Ziva. It demeans Tony and wanks Ziva. Ziva's constant soapish storylines and cartoonish skills have turned the show into a soap opera designed to attract the 18 -25 demographic centering around the love life and tragedies of wonder Ziva.

I don't know what show some of you are watching but I find it amusing that several people are referring to it as ZCIS! Really?! Tony & Ziva have been featured equally in episodes this year. Since most of their scenes are together, I'd assume that that would be the case. Now, I don't know about you but Phoenix was pretty much a Ducky episode. Then there was Namesake which really focused on Gibbs & his father. Devil's Trifecta had a lot of McGee, Diane and Fornell. And Shell Shock parts 1/2 was about Gibbs & Westcott. So, yea, how that translates to the show being all about Ziva is beyond me. Mark Harmon,Cote de Pablo & Michael Weatherly are the 3 leads of the show & everyone else is considered supporting cast so I think all the episodes are well balanced with the screen time the actors are given. And once again if you hate someone that much, stop watching.

While neither Vance or ZIva are responsible for the shooting, they both broke the rules, and with disastrous results. My guess is that Vance will feel responsible and take some blame. Ziva will be portrayed as the grieving angry victim and not be reprimanded in any way. This is the way most of her mistakes have been handled for several seasons now. I'm wondering if the only reason we finally got to see Tony's apartment, after all these years, and since Tony is clearly not a favorite of tptb,, was because the writers wanted to be able to have a preview showing Ziva in Tony's bed. The show is all about the traumas and dramas of Ziva now - ZCIS. It is no longer about a group of talented quirky crime solving agents who are all important.

A new promo shows Ziva clearly spent the night at Tony's apartment, but I'm sure she slept in that tiny single bed by herself (yes, she is in the single bed, same bedding- so Tony didn't burn it after all), and poor Tony got stuck on the sofa again.

As with many scenes, we are left to fill in the blanks. I am guessing after they gave Ziva her privacy with her father, his body was removed and I would assume taken to NCIS. Maybe Gibbs, Tony, Ziva and Tim went with him there, then Tony took her back to stay at his place and then he joined Gibbs at the hospital. McGee must have stayed behind, maybe even at the house, because he clearly hadn't been there the whole time with Gibbs and Tony. I still don't get the two hour delay in Abby and Ducky finding out about Mrs. Vance, unless they didn't bother to call him about Eli (he can wait I guess, they know the cause of death as well as the killer's) To me it's a continuity error that's bugging me.

I would think Ziva would be in danger to travel alone to Israel with her father's body, especially since he was on the outs with Mossad, AND it could be it was a Mossad hit, but perhaps not sanctioned. I don't see how they can have anyone else responsible because of the political repercussions Tim and Tony discussed. I can't believe Gibbs and Tony would let Ziva on that plane by herself, but weirder things have happened. From the photos, she certainly didn't get on a plane that night with her father's body.

NCIS Season 10 Episode 12 Quotes

Bodnar: And whose grandfather would you be?
Ducky: Well that depends. Who's your grandmother?

You know this whole ordeal has made me realize something that I didn't expect. It's helped me better understand your choices. I always thought I had a sense of how you felt at the time, Gibbs. Now I realize I wasn't close. I never wanted that kind of justice before, but since the other night....hell, that's all I think about. Was it worth it, Gibbs? It had to be some relief.
