17 TV Couples Who Shouldn't Have Been Endgame

at .

When there are couples who should have ended up together, there are also couples who shouldn't have ended up together.

In some cases, they actually weren't supposed to be a couple when the series finale came around, but when actors leave the show, writers can only work with what they've got.

There's also the occasions when a relationship is just the worst and we can't believe they were together at the show's conclusion.

We put together a list of 17 TV couples who shouldn't have been endgame.

1. Amy and Reagan - Faking It

No matter what the writers say, we know Amy and Karma were meant to be from the start. Reagan and Amy definitely weren't meant to be endgame, but unfortunately, the show never got a fourth season.

2. Ted and Robin - How I Met Your Mother

To be honest, Barney and Robin weren't a very great relationship either, but it didn't make much sense to make the entire last season about their wedding just to break them up and put her with Ted. We also can't forget that the main point of the series was supposed to be about Ted meeting the mother of his kids.

3. Sookie and her human husband - True Blood

The whole premise of True Blood was about Sookie and her vampire love interests, so the fact that she ended up with a random human is pretty disappointing.

4. Ryan and Taylor - The O.C.

Ryan was always supposed to be with Marissa until the actress left the show. Her death was heartbreaking, and it felt like Ryan only ended up with Taylor just so he wouldn't be alone.

5. Riley and Lucas - Girl Meets World

Riley and Lucas's story was dull and predictable, even for a Disney show. Riley had a lot more chemistry with Farkle, and Lucas was meant to be with Maya.

6. Bay and Travis - Switched at Birth

Travis was a great guy and he did deserve a happy ending. But his relationship with Bay came out of nowhere and didn't make much sense since the whole series was building to Bay and Emmett. If they were going to put Travis and Bay together at the end, they should have started developing them earlier on.

7. Pete and Myka - Warehouse 13

This relationship felt very forced. It was if the two were thrown together out of obligation, when they were already perfect as best friends.

8. Rachel and Jesse - Glee

Rachel and Jesse were actually perfect for each other, and we're glad they were able to find their happiness in the end. However, it's no secret that Finn and Rachel were supposed to end up together, but Cory Monteith died tragically while Glee was still on the air

9. Shelby and Ryan - Quantico

Shelby and Ryan had little to no chemistry, and it's incredibly disappointing that Quantico thought a marriage between them was the right way to end the show.

10. Aria and Ezra - Pretty Little Liars

They may be popular, but did people forget that a grown man was sleeping with his underage high school student in order to get information on her and write a book? No matter where the relationship went, it was illegal and creepy, no matter how "epic" they may have appeared.

11. Brandon and Eliza - The Fosters

After everything Brandon's been through for love, his journey ended with him marrying a character who we barely knew? It's just not satisfying in the least.

12. Damon and Elena - The Vampire Diaries

There's obviously a lot of mixed opinions on this one, but there's no denying that the creators themselves stated that if Nina Dobrev had stayed on the show, they wanted Stefan and Elena to find their way back to each other.

13. Willow and Kennedy - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Tara was Willow's soulmate and everyone knows it. Tara's death was pointless, and Willow's relationship with Kennedy just couldn't compare.

14. Ross and Rachel - Friends

Ross and Rachel really weren't the epic love the show tried to make them out to be. In fact, Ross was kind of the worse. Rachel should've chosen herself and stayed on that plane to follow her dreams.

15. Scott and Malia - Teen Wolf

It's not that we're against them, it's just that Scott and Allison were meant to be and every other relationship with Scott paled in comparison.

16. Chuck and Blair - Gossip Girl

Chuck Bass was both physically and emotionally abusive towards Blair and never had any character development despite the show trying to portray it that way. Someone, please call Dan Humphry to sweep Blair off to Rome where they can be the equals they are.

17. Jackie and Fez - That 70's Show

Fans may have had their differences when it came between choosing between Kelso and Hyde, but almost everyone agrees that Jackie and Fez had no chemistry and shouldn't have ended up together.
