At a meeting, we learn that due to a $1000 budget shortage, Leslie is going to have to cut five classes from the Recreation Department. However, in much more important news, Leslie has been dating Justin and things have been going well. Maybe a little too well as he keeps wining and dining her at fancy places in Indianapolis. So now when the next date will be in Pawnee, Leslie realizes she has to step up her game. After getting some advice from Ann and pretty much ignoring it, Leslie decides to host a dinner party with all of her most interesting friends.
When Ann comes over to Leslie' house, she realizes it's filthy because Leslie is a packrat. Since there's no way they could clean it in time, they call the teacher from the Rec center in charge of organizing your life to help. After that, Ann realizes Leslie has no meal plan for the five course meal and they call in the cooking teacher. By the time the party roles around, they bring in pretty much every teacher from a bartender to a fencer. Things get a little out of control when one of the teacher tries to give a 45 minute presentation on Quickbooks, sending most of the party scrambling to leave and putting Justin to sleep.
The next day Leslie goes on trial for abuse of power and she calls Justin as a witness to the stand. She makes him state under oath that he had a good time. The trial ends up finding her not guilty... seeing as how she turned herself in and donated $1000 so all the teachers could keep their jobs.
In other developments, Leslie invited Wendy to the dinner party and Justin gave Tom some advice to ask her on a real date already.
