GEORGE: "How you doin?"
MEREDITH: "Okay, everybody? Let's just do this once: I'm fine. She's cremated. I picked out a beautiful urn and she's hanging out in the back of my closet. Any more questions about my dead mother, or can we get back to work?"

IZZIE: "She’s gonna be okay."
GEORGE: "Sometimes you’re wrong."

GEORGE: "Do you know how massive this hospital is? How people - not just sick people - not to mention if I'm a little kid, how places can I hide? He's little. He's... a little kid can hide anywhere."
ALEX: "You're lookin' for a kid?"
GEORGE: "Yeah. His mom's in surgery and if I don't find this kid Bailey is going to change her son's middle name to Elvis or Tupperware... anything will be better than George."
ALEX: "I know where a kid might be."
GEORGE: "Really?"

CRISTINA: "Hey, did you just get back?"
GEORGE: "Yeah. I'm lookin'--have you, uh, seen any lost children down here?"
CRISTINA: "Is... is Meredith back too? Because I need her. It's really important."
GEORGE: "Yeah, this is important. This kid's missing and his mom's in surgery."
CRISTINA: "Ooh, what kinda surgery?"
GEORGE: "This kid's lost!"

GEORGE: "Is this boy your patient? I know the picture's half smeared and hard to see but - Please tell me it's him. Tell me he has been right here, under my nose, open on your table all day, and not... drifting along the bottom of the ocean. Please tell me that."
CALLIE: "Hold the photo under the light so I can get a better look. Oh yeah, oh yeah, that's my kid. I could spot those goofy ears anywhere."
GEORGE: "Really?"
CALLIE: "Really."
GEORGE: "Callie O'Malley. I can't kiss you right now because you're scrubbed in, but tonight, when you get home, I am going to ..."
CALLIE: "Alright people, let's focus. George, I'm working here. I'm working, so, yeah. Bye."

GEORGE: "Can I see his face?"
CALLIE: "I'm in the middle of surgery."

MIRANDA: "What happens when the happy mother in there wakes up after surgery and her son isn't there to greet her? What then? How are you gonna explain that, O'Malley?"
GEORGE: "If she wakes up after surgery because my lie helped save her life, I'm okay with that, Dr. Bailey."

GEORGE: "He's lost. Or... or... "
MIRANDA: "He's in the water."
GEORGE: [silent]
MIRANDA: "So when she wakes up, I get to inform her that she is not going to die... she's just going to want to die."
GEORGE: "I'm sorry, I can... keep looking."
MIRANDA: "Yeah, you do that."

IZZIE: "She will come through this."
GEORGE: "You don't know that."
IZZIE: "She will come through this."
GEORGE: "People die."
IZZIE: "I know people die."

IZZIE: "Hey! It's the little woman. So what are your plans now? You're not moving in, are you?"
CALLIE: "Nice."
GEORGE: "Wait, Callie."
CALLIE: "Forget it."
GEORGE: "Unbelievable. People, you're supposed to be my friends. My closest friends. Callie is a big- She's the most important part of my life now. If you wanna drive her away, and you're masters of it, you'll do it. But if she's gone, I'm gone. She's my wife. Calliope Iphigenia Torres is my wife. Don't you dare."
IZZIE: "Okay."

GEORGE: [about the patient] "She's toxic."
OLIVIA: "Callie? Yeah, a lot of us feel that way."

MEREDITH: "You got married?"
GEORGE: "Yeah, I did. It was- I know it was implusive."
MEREDITH: "Was it good-impulsive or Meredith-impulsive? Because if it was Meredith-impulsive, maybe I could help get you out of it."
GEORGE: "No. It's a good thing. But thanks for the back-up."
MEREDITH: "You're welcome. Congratulations George."

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Nobody's memory is perfect or complete. We jumble things up. We lose track of time. We are in one place... then another and it all feels like one long, inescapable moment. So, what does it mean? What do we take away? Which pieces will haunt us? Hurt us? End us? Inspire us? It's just like my mother used to say, the carousel never stops turning. You can't get off.

Meredith

We're all going to die. We don't get much say over how or when, but we do get to decide how we're gonna live. So, do it. Decide. Is this the life you want to live? Is this the person you want to love? Is this the best you can be? Can you be stronger? Kinder? More Compassionate? Decide. Breathe in. Breathe out and decide.
