Am I the only one who doesn't want Klaus and Caroline together? I love Caroline and Tyler together and I'm really disappointed to not have much scenes with them together this season yet. There is just so much love between them I don't want to see it thrown away by Hayley and Klaus. As much as I like Klaus and Elijah I feel like the originals should have been killed off or left town or something. They kill off every other character why keep the originals? I miss Alaric like crazy. He was one of my favorite characters and I wish he was still around.

Reason 2 : The sire bond doesn't affect feeling, is it not kind of a useless bond? -- why would a love story many fans have waited 3 seasons to see would last 2 episodes??? -- makes no sense.

got cut off.......affectionately call Delena. Here is an interesting plot. Stefan goes bad, Katherine comes back,, the two of them go off - Damon gets elena, the cure cures them both and they get to live a natural life happily ever after.
voila' here is the next two seasons. Everyone's happy. :) (oh simple me)

@Rose. I agree with a lot of what you are saying. Caroline is a fabulous actress, but for some reason lately she is coming through as a whining, miserable character, and maybe there is a struggle there within her about Klaus vs Tyler (spelling?) -- It would be interesting to see her dealing with a similar emotional struggle, perhaps she would not be so judgmental of Elena at that point. Perhaps a little disillusioned by the fact that Damon rejected her in the past as well?? -- possibly - The combo Stefan and Caroline against Elena and Damon is getting a little tiresome, it has got to the point where I really do not see Stefan being as upset about the whole thing as much as Caroline, but that perhaps will change in the next episode, when he finds out Damon has not "done the right thing." - I would be disappointed if Damon did in fact do "the right thing" for 2 reasons - 1. Elena/Damon love story two episodes long??? Seriously?? - That is cutting off over 50% of the fan base of what they

I'm still not sure how I feel about this sire bond business. I'll reserve judgement until January.
As for Caroline, she was really getting on my nerves tonight, and she's my favourite female character! Let's not forget she has ALWAYS been against Damon, not just when Elena admitted to sleeping with him. She was against Damon in season 3 when he and Elena were getting closer, and had no problem expressing that point of view to Elena before anything had happened between the two of them. She was against Damon in this episode before she knew that Elena had acted on her feelings for Damon, which yes, does make her a hypocrite. She has been progressively getting closer to Klaus, but hasn't acted on anything yet, just like Elena and Damon were when she started her anti-Damon crusade. But we know Elena will do the same thing to her when the whole Klaus thing becomes apparent, so maybe she'll get a taste of her own medicine later on...

Caroline will always look down on Damon because of how he treated her in the past, and I get it. At the same time, I think Caroline is being more forceful about her feelings concerning the situation because she's struggling internally with the whole Klaus business, and no one has noticed it yet so she is sort of in the clear, for now. I am happy they pushed that the sire bond didn't affect her feelings, because I would've been very disappointed if they decided to ignore Elena's feelings for Damon in the past and make it so the sire bond controlled everything. It would make the writers seems as though they saw the fans as idiots. I think Damon will try to do the right thing, but Elena will fight it because right now she is happy, and her feelings are real, so she doesn't want to lose that. My biggest complaint with Caroline is she made it seem as though Damon knew what he was doing.. they always jump to conclusions with him and that was wrong.. but again, I kinda get why.

"...Do the right thing by you." - there , right there, the summary of Damon and what I absolutely love about him. The internal struggle within himself, the Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde he has lived with since he has met Elena. She brings the best in him and he opens her eyes to a whole new set of emotions. My goodness these two are the epitamy of what a true life love story should be. Love where this story is going, welcome some true drama, this is not high school anymore. :)

I also kind of liked Tyler being alpha and all. Makes the inevitable battle between him and Klaus more exciting. :)
I've always been team Stelena and I've loved Stefan even more in this episode. So much, in fact, that it has become more apparent to me that Elena doesn't deserve him. So if before, I was ok with the triangle as long Stelena was endgame, now I say let the fans be happy and have her end up with Damon for Stefan deserves someone who loves him and is as sure of him as he is to whoever she is.
Me. Kidding.
P.S. Klaus was deeply missed.

Hmmm... kind of a biased review. Why all the Caroline hate? She's just looking out for Elena. And yes, she was judgmental but again, she kinda had a point. I mean, Elena is her bestfriend, whose doing everything Damon says and she knows Elena's sired to Damon, how else was she supposed to react to those facts?
And I agree with the others, I also cannot stand the comparisons with Caroline and Klaus. I mean, she went out on a date with Klaus because of the hybrid to be sacrificed for ELENA's cure, remember? She still obviously loves Tyler. If she's starting to like Klaus, then she only becomes a hypocrite when she actually does something about it.
And I don't think it's weird about Caroline talking about Elena's cure so Klaus could use Elena's blood. She wants the cure for Elena for more or less the same reason as Stefan's, not Klaus'.

Delena is finally on! It's been too long coming. I almost cried when Elena placed Damon's hand over her heart and she stroked his face. These two belong together. I'm so upset the winter finally is next week. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I'm so happy to know that Elena's feelings for Damon are real and they aren't all just because she's sired to him. She's been falling in love with him for a long time and I desperately want them to have the chance to explore their love. We've had Stefan and Elena's love story for three years, now it's time to give Damon and Elena a chance. I loved how desperate she was for him not to break up with her. This is the new Elena and she's in love with Damon.Lets keep it that way.

What i love about the show is it constantly puts up one choice after another of "Do you love this person enough to do [fill in the blanks]" , and damon stefna and elena have a lot of love in them. As do their friends. Constantly sacrificing themselves for each other.
Thats the heart of this show.
Damon will do his best to set Elena free. He cannot stay with her after that because she will listen to any random wish he expresses. Its not safe for her.
But of course the writers will find another way out :)
Its wonderful that Elena genuinely loves Damon, but that is not enough to stay together. They need to be free of the sire bond.
Just a little obstacle.
Here's one scenario: Elena will take the cure and become human again and then we will all be on tenterhooks about who she chooses: Stefan or Damon.

Another thing that's driving me crazy is how caroline is so obsessed with how bad Damon is for Elena, but acts so nonchalant in the last episode about Klaus wanting the cure for Elena to use her blood for hybrids..wth. I thought this was really weird.

Caroline had EVERY right to bitch about Damon but what I hate is that the writers could not be bothered to name real reasons to her not being on-board with Elena and Damon together. Like it or not, Damon did horrible stuff to Caroline in s1, that happened. Yes, he has changed over the past seasons, but that does not mean his actions are forgivable. Look at Charlotte who spent 70 years obsessed with him after he left her. The writers should have written Caroline better lines than "well you know he is a man slut". Oh and is that one not true, just btw? Fine, Elena is happy with Damon but she can't just expect Caroline to be ok with the fact that she slept with the guy who used to abuse Caroline. Oh and remember that time Elena was protective of Caroline in s1 and she was horrified by Damon's abuse? Caroline should have told her that yeah she slept with Damon but she was compelled most of the time. And also Caroline is not in love with Klaus the way Elena is with Damon - so please stop th

I LOVE Elena as a vampire. She's so confident of herself now both in her actions and her feelings. Really hope they don't give her the cure. Cause then all the episodes of her and Damon, her as a vampire will be pointless if she's just gonna revert to her old Team Stefan self ugh.

I love Caroline, don't get me wrong but her actions reminded me of Season 1 Caroline. Always muddling, being so bitchy about it. I honestly don't get what Stefan's expecting to come out of Damon letting Elena go because like Tyler said, the sire bond doesn't affect her feelings whatsoever. Damon didn't order her to kiss him, to have sex with him. That was ALL her so he's just setting himself up for disappointment. The only way to get his Elena back is to turn her back into a human. Then her heightened feelings for Damon will be gone. Stefan's being so selfish. Damon can never be happy for once ugh.

I LOVED this episode. Really surprised at all the bashing on Delena in the comments. Damon and Elena have great chemistry. I've never seen either of them so happy, she wasn't like this with Stefan at all. This relationship between them is really doing the both of them some good! And what's this Damon raped Caroline bullshit, he did not. He definitely didn't compel her to have sex with him, it was all her. I get that Caroline doesn't like Damon but she was laying on the judgement really THICK.

I like Caroline and understand her reasoning for not liking Damon, but she is behaving childishly. I can't stand people that try to project their hate towards someone on other people and that is exactly what she is doing. She's trying to force Elena to leave Damon alone. A real friend wouldn't constantly bash their friend's partner like that. Caroline needs to get a grip and worry about her flirtations with Klaus. And honestly Klaus is the worst of them all, at least Damon is trying to redeem himself.

Even though my favourite Klaus was missing here, i loved the episode!
Elena really seems diferrent-alive and happy (love her vampire wardrobe too!)
Delena actually is really hot-i ship them officially from now on!
Felt bad for Stefan- but i love how the hurt and the rejection shape him now-Paul Wesley is stellar!
I will always love Caroline-no matter how hard the writers are trying to make me hate her! And yes,i agree her hatred is justified-but it seems sudden and too much! At least she apologized-so let's hope it will be the last we see of this annoying behaviour!
Poor Bonnie will get seriously hurt in the end-And Shane starts to annoy me-I want answers! Hayley turned out to be a waste of screentime(too bad!)She will probably be related to Tyler...the glorious leader!?
Ty has really manned up and became worth-watching-Trevino is amazing.
BUT i disagree with his purposes for many reasons-not just because of my love for JoMo!Hope it blows up in his face! Hate 'Ultimate Hero' TY

have to say damon and elena are much more exciting to watch in a relationship then her and stephan, although the two of them being in a relationship for real throws me off a bit (sometimes it's better not to know). on a final note in the books elena and stephen are end game so i have to wonder if that will come into play with the series.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
