Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 7 revolves around questions of trust.

When Jamie's goofy childhood friend shows up claiming to have solved a cold case, Jamie is skeptical, especially after the man she claims is guilty appears to be wheelchair bound since before the murders took place. Everyone else thinks Allison is a nut case who is wasting Jamie's time and/or thinks she has a chance with him, while Jamie would rather not have to work with her, period.

Jamie and Anthony's investigation leads them to discover that the suspect is faking his injury, however, but he runs away before they can arrest him.

Meanwhile, Frank wants to give a second chance to an ex-cop who turned in his badge after being falsely accused of improper conduct. Mackenzie claims to have secretly been working undercover to catch some thieves, but Garrett and Sid suspect a set-up. Mackenzie still blames Frank for the loss of his career and badmouths him every chance he gets and could be looking for revenge.

And finally, when Danny is a witness to a drive-by shooting, he butts heads with the detective investigating the case... and with the victim's son, who is impatient for justice.
