The temporally-displaced Agents of SHIELD realize that they're in the future, and that Earth was destroyed some time ago by an unspecified cataclysmic event.

With their new acquaintances, they start to piece together what happened. After the destruction of Earth, the Kree arrived and saved the remnants of humanity in exchange for their total subservience. The humans on the station are essentially slaves to them.

They watch as a brawl over food results in the execution of one human. Another, who happens to be a servant of the Kree, is injured. Jemma attempts to treat him and is taken away by the Kree to the quarters of Kasius, the Kree in Charge.

Later, the Kree cull the human numbers by having the lower-performing humans either die or take a life in an all-out melee. Coulson and the others indenture themselves to a less-than-savory person in order to have their metrics installed.

Daisy, who has been following Zeke in order to dig up more information (and potentially dirt) on him, discovers the truth about his "business." He runs the equivalent of an opium den: actually, a reconstructed Framework with whatever scraps of information he has about Earth, an escape from their pitiful existences on the Lighthouse.

Zeke informs Daisy that she, Quake, was actually the cause of the Earth's destruction.
