Now that Markus Keen has signed to Rayna's label – pretty much empyting her pockets in the process – let's hope that the song and dance to get him on board was worth it. From the looks of things, Rayna and Markus are enjoying their new partnership A LOT! Does someone need to call Deacon about this?
After abandoning Layla at her Bluebird performance, Rayna really owes it to this girl to make it up to her. It looks like she's trying and succeeding though, since Layla seems happier than ever to be side by side with the country music legend on stage. A step in the right direction, Rayna!
Recently, Layla has felt pretty abandoned by her team. Jeff doesn't want to make her a priority, Rayna has too much going on, and Bucky never really wanted her on the label anyways. With virtually no one in her corner, Layla's career was hitting the brakes pretty hard. It's nice to see her back on stage, but let's just hope we can keep it that way.
It's been quite a while since we got to see Layla play to a packed stadium, but it looks like Jeff is finally coming through for her as a manager. Don't forget that Glenn was the one who offered to represent her last week though! We think that Jeff's number might be up when it comes to this young artist!
After refusing to help her make the decision to keep her mother on life support or let her go, Caleb might not be Scarlett's favorite person. In the end, Gunnar was the one to give her the advice and support that she needed, which might end up causing a rift between this otherwise perfect couple.
After taking her mother, Beverly, off of life support, Scarlett is no doubt in a very dark and mournful place. And what's a girl to do when she's got a serious case of the blue but right a killer song about her pain? Scarlett always knows how to belt out the tragic ones, so we're looking forward to whatever song she's writing up this time.
One of our top requests for the upcoming season of Nashville was a great big serving of Daddy Avery, and it looks like Season 4 is going to deliver! We still hope Avery will have time to make awesome music, but who can resist a rockstar who's also an amazing father to his baby girl?
Is it just us, or is this NOT a great place to bring a baby? With Juliette's career on the move, she seems to be enjoying all life can give her, and that means partying it up. Unfortunately, it's hard to raise a kid between drunken dancing and make-out sessions, so we don't imagine Avery and Cadence will stay for long.
After Juliette breaks down during an appearance on "Live with Kelly and Michael," Avery reaches out to make sure she's okay. He even brings Cadence along. A pretty brave move, considering Juliette nearly beaned the both of them with a snow globe in the season finale.
Pictured here we see, mommy, daddy, baby, and a whole lot of resentment to go around. After Avery's departure with Cadence, and Juliette's decision to run away from all of her post-partum problems, it's easy to see how these three might not make such a happy family anymore.
Rayna James certainly knows how to fly in style. But where is she heading? L.A to meet up with Luke and Juliette and probably have it out over her broken contract? Or perhaps to woo rock artist, Markus Keen, to Highway 65? Either way, we hope at the end of the day she flies right back to Deacon, who is alive and well (shut up, we just want him to be okay!).
