D-Major may be fine, but he's also a bad influence on Jamal, and an enable of his drug use. Here's to hoping Jamal will be spending less time with him and more time with Philip when the show returns.
I don't think devious Lucious has ever looked more at home than in front of a wall of fire bearing the word Inferno. Perhaps this is foreshadowing the hellish fate Andre has in store for him?
Where do you think that blood on Lucious' head came from? Cookie's baseball bat? Shyne's cronies? Tariq's FBI colleagues? Whatever the answer, one thing is for sure: Lucious will make sure the perpetrator pays.
Cookie is so unbelievably fierce. I have serious envy of her entire ensemble here, not to mention her ability to stomp around so forcefully in those spiky heels. If that was me, I'd end up accidentally breaking an ankle instead of Lucious' gold records.
I know we just saw Cookie coming after Lucious with a baseball bat, but here they appear to be united against a common foe, whoever that they may. Are they destined to end up together after all?
After a final heart to heart with the ghost of his dead wife, Andre decided to murder his father and take over Empire. Not sure if teaming up with Shyne to do it is a good idea, but we'll see. Right now, Andre seems to be sitting pretty.
Hakeem might be a dad now, but he's still immature enough on enough other levels to feel like a child. Will his rivalry with Andre and relationship with Tiana force him to finally grow up?
The last time we saw Jamal, his family announced they were shipping him off to rehab following his performance at The People's Ball. He's looking better here, so fingers crossed he's been able to face his demons and move on.
Fresh off of her role in the Oscar-nominated (and absolutely wonderful) Hidden Figures, Taraji P. Henson is on top of her game. But, Cookie's situation is a little less ideal. At least she still has a killer wardrobe?
Shyne is set to team up with Andre to take down Lucious. But will these two ambitious men immediately turn on each other if they succeed? Perhaps Nessa can keep them from killing each other, too.
