Katey Sagal and Courteney Cox are getting Shameless.

According to Variety, both actresses have signed on to appear on the Showtime drama's upcoming ninth season.

Sagal is a seasoned TV veteran who has appeared in the likes of Sons of Anarchy, 8 Simple Rules and Married ... with Children.

She will play the role of Ingrid Jones, who may or may not be a new love interest for Frank.

Sagal will recur throughout the season, but Frank's love interests have a track record for disappearing after a few episodes.

Meanwhile, Cox will take on the role of Jen Wagner, an actress who Lip takes under his wing when he acts as a sober companion for her.

Yeah, we can only imagine the crazy drama that will come from that.

Cox is probably most well known for her roles on Friends and the Scream movie series.

As previously reported, Showtime has opted to divide Shameless Season 9 into two parts, with each spanning seven episodes.

This means it will also be the biggest season to date, clocking in at 14 episodes as opposed to the standard 12 the previous seasons have spanned.

"Frank sees financial opportunity in campaigning and decides to give voice to the underrepresented South Side working man. Fiona tries to build on her success with her apartment building and takes an expensive gamble hoping to catapult herself into the upper echelon."
