Scorpion Canceled at CBS!

Scorpion is over at CBS.

The network has pulled the plug on the procedural drama after four seasons.

It focused on a group of geniuses who are seen as the last line of defense around the world, and put their extensive skills to the test as they try to keep the world safe.

Stranded On an Island - Scorpion

If you watched Scorpion online, you will know that the team found themselves in a variety of situations that took them across the globe.

It starred Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, and Riley B. Smith.

If you keep up to speed with the ratings, you will know that Scorpion Season 4 continued to bleed in both viewers and in the all-important 18-49 demographic.

SCORPION AXED

Season 4 averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49. It ranked 22nd out of 27 scripted series on CBS.

Still, the show remained on the bubble throughout the season, and that's in part down to the show being owned by CBS.

It isn't uncommon for lower rated shows to stick around for longer if they make money off-network syndication and from international sales.

Scorpion is a favorite here at TV Fanatic, and that's partly down to the fact that the team dynamic makes for excellent TV.

The procedural drama joins Wisdom of the Crowd, Living Biblically and 9JKL as the series canceled by the eye network so far.

Avoiding Catastrophe - Scorpion

Meanwhile, the network has passed on drama pilots Cagney and Lacey, History of Them and 25, while picking up the Magnum P.I. reboot, The Code, and Fam.

However, Mira Sorvino and Dave Annable's roles on The Code will be recast.
