it had to have been max who messed with the car. he got paid but we don't know why and the driver was taking Nate to where Chuck and Blair was supposed to be going! Now what i wonder is if the Driver died and if GG's budget is so low that they can't even show the car crashing!!!

Ok, I love Chuck. Chuck forever. But seriously, if Chuck dies and next season is the last season that could be soooo epic!!! The writing for the next season would have to be skillfully executed with an attention to plot and detail that Gossip Girl usually overlooks and makes up for with drama, scandal and aesthetics, but it could be done. Think Marissa Cooper dying, but so much better (judging it in terms of impact and epicness)! Marissa dying was sad because of the ripple of devastation it sent through the show; all the characters we wrecked in some way by it, even if not particularly close to Marissa. Sure, Marissa herself was missed, but she was kinda of retarded so her actual absence isn't what made it so riveting. Now, with Chuck, we would get the ripple of devastation as characters coped, but what is the Upper East Side without our beloved Basshole??? Unthinkable right?! I think it would be an interesting thing to find out and would give the show new life and purpose in its last

Predictions? the writers always use the mid-season finale to set up the rest of the season.
last year we had Serena going to find Ben and Dan deciding to write instead of going w/ her, Dan/Blair cleaning the dishes after Thanksgiving (signaling their story lines) ...etc.
my take:
Chuck: Chuck is alive. Contrary to what others are saying, I don't think he'll have memory loss. There's a reason why Jack called Diane. And all the hints of Diane's connection to Chuck through this season: that's either Chuck's mother or half sister...etc. The Chuck/family storyline will probably unravel for the next 12 eppies. Probably more revelations about Bart. That's the same thing the writers did last year with the Raina's mom/Bart having an affair/building fire storyline.
Blair: She'll feel guilt over losing Louis and her baby. Him/his family will play on that guilt and Blair will agree to get married to him b/c she'll feel she owes Louis that after losing his baby. Blair may even pray to
I didn't like the whole princess Diana thing so without imagination.
Loved Dan's selfless acts of love to Blair reuniting her with Chuck even thought he loved her.
I felt sorry for Ivy....I did, she really did want just to be a part of the family even though it was wrong the way she did it? anyone think Rufus paid attention to what she said? hahahha? don't think he'll remember.
I HATE Max, where does he get calling Ivy white trash when HE too is white trash as well? wasn't he also living in a DUMP with her in Cali?
OMG trip tried to kill Nathan and backfired? that backless leech I hate him.

The best part of this episode imo was Ed and Leighton. They were amazing and I believed everything coming out of Blair and Chuck's mouth when they said it, lol. I loved all the subtle nuances, Blair's heartbroken face when Chuck didn't answer the way she wanted him to about the baby on the phone, her face telling Dan about it, Chuck telling Blair he would love her baby, kissing her hand, etc. I just love all of their scenes together and apart because they are just that good.

One of the better episodes this season by far.
I definitely think Max tampered with the car, and Nate got in the wrong one. His driver mentioned he didn't know they were going to the airport? I love that they're bringing Jack into the Diana/Nate/Trip/Grandfather storyline. Somehow they are all connected but how? I love Nate these last few episodes too, I hope he continues to be a bigger player in the next half of the season.
I have not cared about Chivy this entire time, but I wouldn't be surprised if her confession gets swept under the rug with a comment of being stressed out and worried about Blair and Chuck.
Serena is so unlikeable to me. The second she gets jealous or doesn't get what she wants she turns on her friends. She did not tell Louis where Blair was for Blair's happiness, she told him so she could mess up Dan's chance of telling Blair how he feels. Dan has evolved too much to go back to Serena. When he was bringing Blair to Chuck, it seriously sucked, but at th
Ok... I never expected for me to say sth like this what Dan did in this episode was beautiful and deep and an act of true love. I actually felt for him after a long long time. Though i was super excited that Blair admited her undying love for Chuck seeing Dan hurt was heartbreaking.
I also felt for Serena. Yes...Unlike Dan she chose the selfish way but she can't help it. Atmittedly Dan was the love of her life so i can see why Dan putting their past completely behind him would have caused her pain and jealousy. I'm really hoping for a good ending for those two...
I won't even think the possibility of Chuck dying... But i also don't want the amnesia card played in the show...OR any other disability! A simple coma will be just fine. Of course i can't say i can combine the ''Chuck in coma'' scene with ''Blair in white'' scene. But we'll see...

I think that the car Chair took was actually meant for Nate... Who was behind that?

Uggh! I knew something was going to happen to Chuck! With all the set photos around I had barely seen him! I bet my BW Headband collection that the wedding is just a dream- why would Blair marry that snake Louis after all of this?
I wonder if Chuck is going to end up in a coma and THAT is why Blair leaves the wedding?

Since Ivy never finished telling Rufus what she meant by being a fraud--and since she immediately called Carol, when Rufus walked away--I expect that Carol will talk Ivy out of confessing everything, and Ivy will make up some story to account for what she said to Rufus.
It would be really interesting if the writers killed off Chuck, but I think they would lose viewers in droves, so I don't see it happening. The memory loss, though--that could be an interesting twist, and could push Blair back to Louie--except that maybe Chuck regains his memory on Blair's wedding day :)
So Grandpa Vanderbilt and Diana had a hand in the car accident--but they were expecting Nate to be in that car? I am thinking they were expecting Tripp to be in that car. I wonder what old man Bass and Grandpa and Diana have hiding in their closets??
I'm hoping they don't pull an amnesia moment. That is so clichéd it's ridiculous.
Chuck HAS to make it. Gossip Girl without Chair? Perish the thought!

I've been a Dair shipper for a while and would still like to see it happen, but this episode made me realise that it has to be Derena in the end! Those two are meant to be. She's horrible without him, and a much better person with him.
I'd like to see them explore the whole Dair thing, but when the show begins to come to a close (probably next season) they need to end it with Dan and Serena being together.

I really wonder at the Diana/Jack connection. I wonder if she'll swoop in to reveal that she is the former Mrs. Bass? I also am pleased with Dan because he is the only character working on himself. Chuck can't deny his selfishness - he's breaking up a family to meet his own desires. Dan is the only one who is understanding of what selflessness actually means - he loves Blair so much that he is willing to see her happy with CHUCK - the lowest lifeform.
I think Blair is going to have issues with Chuck, even though she is praying for him, because her baby is going to be lost. I hope that Louis exits like a gentleman because his character trashing is just a lame way to go out. And I can't wait to see how the Dair storyline plays out. Mid-season last year was when all the Dair deliciousness happened and we still have Dan's confession and Blair reading Inside to look forward to. Cheer's to a better second half of the season!!

I think the stills with Blair running through the NYC streets in her wedding dress is a sign that Chuck Bass......died
And she dashed right out to try and make it to the hospital..but was a moment too late...
Such a sad sad sad image if what I'm thinking might happen...and if it does...screw the writers...I want a happy ending too....and who doesn't???

Season 2: Nate lets her go, she goes with Chuck. Season 4: Chuck lets her go so she can be with Louis. Season 5: Dan lets her go so she can be with Chuck. Now, would somebody marry Blair freaking Waldorf? And by "somebody" I mean Dan.

Chuck has bandages over his head, he is definitely going to have head injury causing him to have memory loss. It is going to be Derena all the way, Serena just has to realize that she is in love with Dan and she was at her best when she was with Dan. I just can not believe they did this to Chuck TWICE, wth? They should have Blair with traumatic injuries isnt she carrying a baby after all???!???

Interested in how they will bring her back, after all know she has no space to comeback as a Rhodes. cause Rufus will start to ask some important questions.
