Mariska Hargitay Bids Farewell to Christopher Meloni
Considering how upset Law & Order: SVU fans over the departure of Christopher Meloni, imagine how it affects co-star Mariska Hargitay.
Actually, you don't need to imagine. The Emmy winner provided a statement to TV Line today that reads:
“For the past 12 years Chris has been my partner and friend, both on screen and off. He inspired me every day with his integrity, his extraordinary talent and his commitment to the truth. I love him deeply and will miss him terribly - I’m so excited to see what he’ll do next.”
So are we. We're also curious about who will replace him. Which of these actors would make the best fit?

No one is irreplaceable. And Chris, the last two seasons was very bad. The Eliot ceased to be a tough detective. He always seemed sarcastic, ironic when interrogating suspects. And Cris is bald and ugly.

No one can replace Christopher Meloni on SVU. No one. Without both him and Mariska Hargitay onscreen, I'm no longer watching.
