Siren Gets 2019 Return Date, Deadly New Trailer

There are more of them!

That was the immediate thought while watching the latest teaser trailer for Siren Season 2, which was released at New York Comic-Con. 

The waters are not safe on this Freeform drama series, and that's because there are new additions to the mermaid population of the small coastal town of Bristol Cove. 

And these new additions do not come in peace. Instead, they want to feast on anyone who takes a trip into the water. 

Ryn is still fighting on the side of good, and that's why she goes all out in her plan to scare one of the newbies into following her rule. 

Siren was a surprise success for Freeform when it debuted earlier this year. With a convincing love triangle, chilling twists and solid acting from a relatively unknown cast, it struck a chord with Freeform's younger demos. 

As such, Siren Season 2 has been expanded to 16 episodes, up from Siren Season 1's ten episode order. 

During the panel at NYCC, it was also revealed that a contest would be kicking off later this month that would allow fans to be part of the show. 

The lucky winner of the contest wins a chance to swim with mermaids on the set of the hit series, and the picture will be featured in the show.
