Shadowhunters has been killing it creatively on Season 2, with fresh new storylines and a likable bunch of characters.
It's no surprise that the series has already been renewed for Season 3, but there is still a lot of drama left to come this season.
It was recently announced that Modern Family's Sarah Hyland was joining the series for a two-episode guest stint.
Unsurprisingly, the cast arrived at the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel with footage of her in action.
The big surprise is that she's playing a new version of a character who was played by someone else just weeks ago.
That character is the Seelie Queen, and we're actually digging Hyland's performance. We've watched her for years on Modern Family, but this is a very different role for her.
In the clip, Simon meets up with her and asks to meet with the Seelie Queen, but nothing could prepare him for the revelation that she was the one he was looking for.
Though the Queen is dead set in her quest for the war to occur, she makes him an offer to join him in her court, but she does not elaborate what he will be doing for her.
Instead, she says that no harm will come to him. Simon declines the offer and leaves her a little annoyed by the whole encounter.
Something tells us things are going to get worse if he does not accept her invitation soon.
Aside from the trailer, it was revealed that Alisha Wainwright has been upped to series regular for Season 3, so that means we will see a lot more of Maia Roberts.
