at .  Updated at .

Twenty years go in April, 1995 things were surprisingly similar to how they look today. Take a look!

1. Home Improvement -- Rating 21.0

Can you even believe that rating?? In 1995 Home Improvement was airing its fourth season. On April 11, two episodes ran. Tool Time After Dark parts one and two. After eating polish food, Tim's stomach is bothering him so he stays up all night watching old Tool Time episodes. Still relevant today, Tim Allen still has a sitcom on the air with Last Man Standing. Yes he is.

2. Friends -- Rating 18.1

In April 1995 Friends was in its first season, airing The One with the Evil Orthodontist when the gang becomes annoyed after they discover someone is spying on them from the building across the street. Is there even a point in reminding everyone about this cast's relevance? Courteney Cox just finished up the final episode of Cougar Town this week, Matthew Perry is currently airing in The Odd Couple, Matt LeBlanc is awaiting pickup news of another season of Showtime's Episodes and Lisa Kudrow knocks 'em dead in shows like Web Therapy and The Comeback, Jennifer Aniston is a household name and people would give a limb for a reunion.

3. ER -- Rating 17.9

ER was in its first season, airing an episode titled House of Cards on April 6, in which Dr. Greene is still having trouble dealing with cases in the ER and the new Chief of Staff is growing increasingly concerned. 5. Grace Under Fire -- Rating 15.6

One of the few not relevant today, Grace Under Fire aired Sticks and Stones on April 5. When Quentin gets into a fight after using a racial slur, Grace wants Jimmy to straighten him out. Meanwhile, the refinery plans a roast for John Shirley.

Coach was in its seventh season in 1995 and aired Ten Percent of Nothing on April 5. Luther decides to go behind his agent's back who's his dentist, and gets a job without him knowing the same time he gets a bad cavity. The relevance is NBC announced it was pulling the ABC Craig T. Peter Krause and Cybill herself also remain quite relevant!

There's commotion in Cabot Cove about a rumored plan to build a car plant, Dr. Hazlit allegedly called it a health risk, but actually assures the sheriff not even to know what the project is. There isn't a lot about this show that remains relevant, apart from the networks's attempts to revive it to capitalize on its popularity.

11. Ellen -- Rating 12.1

Ellen was in its second season and aired Three Strikes on March 29. Ellen joins an animal rights activist group that stages an illegal protest of the killing of ferrets. Ellen's relevance cannot be questioned, as this was merely the begging of an astronomical career. Jeremy Piven, whose career has also skyrocketed joined the show in 1995. He's been in Entourage and Mr. Selfridge and nominated for multiple awards.
