PART ONE: Victor (Eric Braeden) admits to Nick and Nikki that he's hired people to help with the investigation at Clear Springs. Paul advises Victor that he's investigated David and found nothing so far. Paul and Maggie find Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and J.T. in Victoria's room and urge them to go home. Jack (Peter Bergman) gets a call that the media is announcing that Jack's a suspect in Ji Min's murder case. Jack blames Maggie but she denies leaking the item but vows to find out who did. Jack stops by Noah's hospital room for a visit and finds Nick and Sharon wearing costumes for Halloween. Nick then pushes Noah around the hospital to collect candy.

PART TWO: Phyllis returns to prison after her first day of work release and opens up to the chaplain about her complaints. Later, Jana (Emily O'Brien) hears the reports about Jack being a hero and tells Phyllis that she has a different opinion of him. Sharon assures Jack that she supports him no matter what he wants to do. She adds that if he wants to resign, she will support him. Jack gets a call about the dog hair and learns it isn't from the Abbott dog. Adrian admits to J.T. and Colleen (Tammin Sursok) that he owes Victoria (Amelia Heinle) a great deal of thanks for keeping him calm during the building collapse.

CONCLUSION: Seeing David, an angry J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) confronts him about kickbacks paid to Joe. David denies knowing anything about them and vows to sue him for slander if he doesn't stop his rash accusations. He later advises Nikki that he's going to stay away from the hospital.
