The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 4 features several cases where people see the world differently.

Shaun works with Mitchell Stewart, a conspiracy theorist who believes his liver disease is due to poisoning and doesn't trust anyone but Shaun (who he thinks became autistic because of vaccinations). Everyone else thinks Mitchell is crazy, but Shaun is able to understand his delusions and get through to him. After Shaun talks Mitchell out of leaving the hospital, Mitchell makes a comment that gives him a clue as to what is wrong with him.

Meanwhile, Claire and Morgan work with a patient, Lily, who literally cannot feel pain. Lily loses her hand to an infection she didn't know she had. Claire is jealous that Lily can't feel pain because she is secretly grieving over her mother's death, which no one knows about, while Morgan thinks Lily's condition needs to be fixed..

Elsewhere, Glassman prepares to marry Debbie, but he gets cold feet after Shaun mentions that he is sure Glassman and Debbie know each other very well since they are getting married, while Shaun struggles to overcome his discomfort to hold hands with Carly.
