The CW's Dynasty reboot is moving full steam ahead and has now cast the iconic role of Blake Carrington.
Melrose Place alum, Grant Show has been tapped to take on the role in the pilot, and we could not be more excited.
He was most recently a regular on Lifetime's dearly departed Devious Maids. In short, he's no stranger to soapy dramas.
Nathalie Kelley and Elizabeth Gillies were previously revealed to be starring as Cristal and Fallon. The pilot is set to begin filming later this month, so don't expect news on a green light until early May.
It's hard to imagine this one being a hit among The CW's target demographics, but stranger things have happened.
The Originals star, Claire Holt, has booked a role on ABC pilot, Doomsday. The pilot centers on a group of people who are tasked with coming up with possible disaster scenarios.
Things take a strange turn when one of the disasters happens in the real world. Yes, we're intrigued. The cast already includes the likes of Taye Diggs, Rachel Lefevre, Jack Davenport and Dan Byrd.
It's unlikely Holt's casting means The Originals is concluding after its upcoming fourth season. Holt has taken a back seat on the show over the past few years and has only returned when the show needed her.
Also, she is only signed for six out of the thirteen episodes this year.
Buried amongst all of the casting scoop, Netflix dropped a trailer for Grace & Frankie Season 3, and it looks funnier than before.
