Revolution Spoilers: Major Reveal to Come
The cast and crew of Revolution were featured last night at PaleyFest in Los Angeles, and producer Eric Kripke wasted no time dropping a major bomb at the outset of the show's panel discussion:
"We reveal why the power went out - and we do it early," Kripke said of the hit series' return.
The major reveal will take place on Episode 13, scheduled for April 8, and “it opens the door to a bigger story and a bigger mystery,” Kripke added, saying the drama will feature a “much more epic scope” as the fight against Monroe really grows more intense.
“The fights get bigger, the emotion gets more fraught."
Kripke also previewed an abundance of answers, telling those in attendance:
“Every question that has been asked, at least certainly in the first 10 [episodes], we answer it before the end of the season - and still allow for a lot more questions and interesting developments to happen."
Why did Rachel slap Miles? What is their history about? Where’s Grace right now? What’s Randall want from her? What turned Miles and Monroe against each other?
Among other developments on the way:
- Leslie Hope’s President Foster is a “badass," Kripke said. "She’s really steely and strong and has her own management style that is quite different from Monroe’s.”
- Monroe is a "broken man," said David Lyons. "And the question is: Can he be mended? I’m not sure.”
- Charlie and Rachel will clash, with the former having "a lot of anger and resentment" toward her parent for leaving her behind, said actress Tracy Spiridakos.
- There will be a confrontation between Nate and Neville.
Revolution Season 1 finally resumes on Monday, March 25.
