Alphas: Canceled by Syfy
Alphas will no longer be fighting crime for Syfy. The network announced last night that it has canceled this drama after two seasons.
Anchored by David Strathairn, Alphas centered around a group of individual with extraordinary mental and physical abilities. Said Syfy in a statement:
“Syfy has decided not to renew Alphas for a third season. We’ve been proud to present this entertaining, high-quality series for two seasons and to work with an incredible ensemble of talented actors, producers and creatives as well as our partners at BermanBraun Television. We’d like to thank the show’s dedicated regular viewers for their tremendous support.”
Yesterday, Lifetime also announced it has canceled Drop Dead Diva.

I can't stand SYFY now!!!! Cancelling the show was a bonehead move!!!! Terrible. I'm blocking the channel!!!!!!!!!!!

this is really a terrible, disastrous news, Alphas is a great show, have great actors and awesome plotline, but why is it cancelled? at least a valid explanation could be done, but WHY IS IT THERE IS NONE?? ohh this sucks, really sucks. you're going down syfy.. really. ur taking a lot of risks..

This was the only reason we even watched that poor excuse for a niche channel. Now, we can just remove it from our TV guide :P RIP SciFi...

This is very sad news. I really don't understand why they keep some shows, that have worse ratings, and cancel such good shows.

No I was dreading this news, I kept hoping that they would renew alphas, I can't believe that they are leaving it as cliffhanger, this really sucks!! I just had gotten more people into it, boy are they goung to be upset!

This sucks how can they cancel such a good show after a huge cliff hanger the least they could do is make a 3rd season and just have it be the last season so we get answers and were not left wondering what could of been. I loved this show so sad to see it end.
