Steve Carell to Depart The Office On...
It's almost time for The Office viewers to say goodbye to Steve Carell. The actor has filmed his final episode and NBC has now announced its air date: April 28.
While details regarding the way in which Michael Scott departs Scranton are being kept quiet, we can confirm that Greg Daniels - who originally adapted Ricky Gervais' British version of The Office - penned the farewell installment.
Carell will be around long enough to interact with Will Ferrell, at least, who premieres on April 14 and sticks around until May 5. His character will NOT serve as Scott's replacement, though.
To whom will that honor fall? Viewers will find out on the May 19, one-hour long finale.

I think that "Gabe" (Zach Woods) would be great to take over for Michael. He's got that know-it-all way about him but is an idiot. And you have to love him. Just like Michael
