The Vampire Diaries

Boone Carlyle may have been the first major death on Lost, but Ian Somerhalder will rise as a vampire on the CW's new pilot, Vampire Diaries according to Variety.

Somerhalder will play Damon, a smug vampire who goes from playful to evil at the snap of a finger. Also joining the cast will be Zach Roerig (Friday Night Lights) as the jock Matt and Kayla Ewell (Entourage) as Matt's sister.

These fine looking young actors already join action legend Steve McQueen's grandson, Steven R. McQueen.
