Game of Thrones Season 8: 13 Things That Need To Happen

Game of Thrones concluded Season 7 in shocking fashion.

The wall is no longer keeping the Night King out of some of the show's biggest locations.

With six episodes left, there are a lot of things that need to happen.

We've rounded up some of the most important things that must happen before we find out whether anyone survives long enough to take up residence on the Iron Throne.

1. The Night King Needs to Die

The survivors need to join forces and wipe the Night King out for good.

2. The Completion of Arya's List

Arya is on a revenge mission and still has her list of kills to complete. With her and Sansa now on the same page, could Arya please disappear for a bit of slicing and dicing to complete the list?

3. War of the Dragons

Khal Drogo murdered Viserys. With Drogon being named after Khal and Viserion named after Viserys, it would be poetic justice if Drogon was the one to end Viserion's reign of terror.

4. A Bastard No More

Jon needs to learn the truth about his connection to Daenerys. He's lived his life for so long as a bastard and laughing stock of the family, so it will be a great payoff to see him find out everything there is to know.

5. The End of Cersei Lannister

Cersei is lucky to have survived Season 7, but Jaime now knows that she's too far gone, so he needs to strike first and wipe her out before legit kills him. It would earn him a lot of respect with the likes of Daenerys and Jon, so there's really no reason for him not to do it.

6. The Hound vs. The Mountain Take Two

There is no love lost between The Hound and The Mountain, so there absolutely needs to be one final fight between them before the series wraps up.

7. Greyjoy Revenge

Theon and his small group of men need to find a way to take Euron out of the equation once and for all. If he can build 1000 ships on an island with no trees, there's no telling what he will do if he is given some time. Yara is probably dead, but it would be awesome to see Theon take him out and get revenge.

8. Tormund & Brienne

Tormund seems to love Brienne without knowing much about her, but Brienne may find herself falling for Jaime Lannister if he fights alongside her. If Tormund survives, it would be great to see them try to have a relationship.

9. An Arya and Gendry Reunion

Arya and Gendry had a strong bond earlier in the series, so there needs to be at least one scene with them meeting up.

10. Jaime and Bran

Jaime and Bran need to cross paths at some point. Bran is, of course, completely different, and Jaime would probably run a mile if Bran's eyes went white.

11. Jon Snow's Dragon

Jon Snow needs to ride one of the dragons. Rhaegal sounds like a worthy candidate.

12. What Will Qyburn Do?

Qyburn is one of the smartest people around, and he seemed enthralled by the wight. Could he find a way to control them? That would change the game and Cersei would be shocked.
