Months later, Jenkins is alarmed and frustrated as multiple artifacts seem to be vanishing from the Library. Also, none of the Librarians are working together anymore, each of them having their own idea on how to do things without the others. This is tested when they all get a summons from the Library to go to a museum exhibit in New York City, at the very same place Flynn Carsen had his own first adventure as a Librarian. Instead of working together to figure out what's going on, however, they turn it into a competition, and things rapidly deteriorate as a massive storm appears out of nowhere to threaten the entire city of New York.
