it might be one-sided.

Seriously, no one knows exactly on how it works yet because the character is just being introduced.

Yep, Buffy certainly has issues dealing with everything that happened.

Also I am guessing Buffy will have to go against Illyria because Illyria is essentially the Old One who slaughtered Koh's people and the world and imprisoned him.

I think Buffy dislike men. . .

I just watched S2 episode "I Only have Eyes for You", the one where poltergeist haunt the school and take control of people.

When Buffy stopped the guy controled by the ghost, the young guy, se said "You were about to go O-something, on your girlfriend", emphasizing, putting pressure, on the world girlfriend, not O-something(i assume it means beserk or something to that effect). Then just after, she says "Because you're a jerk?".

Instead of the logical thing to say which would something about him being insane. For some reason she connect the act with him being a guy, instead of him being insane. . . lol. . .

Because male violence against female in teenager pairings is INCREDIBLY common.

If you see a guy hurting a girl, its FAR MORE Likely that he is just a mysogynist bastard, than insane. That's the reality of the world and of course Buffy would empathize with the female side of the conflict, which is exactly why that episode makes her empathize with male side of the conflict.

Yea, if the guy is a fat drunk unshaved guy in his 40's about to beat his wife. Not if it is a highschool kid with a freaking gun. . .

Obviously she would empathize with the female yea, but instead of reacting to the situation, she reacts to the gender. She emphasizes on the the guy about to kill the girl, instead of a person about to kill another person. Instead of reacting to the far-outness of the situation, she reacts to the fact that it's a male holding the gun.

I am wondering where you are from. You say it's not just common but INCREDIBLY common for male teenagers to hit their girlfriends. In Denmark this barely ever happens. I have a total of 1 female friend who have been beaten by her boyfriend, and they were both in a crowd where hard drugs(heroin, acid etc. etc. not chill stuff like weed) is common. Ofcause that's 1 too much but still, one among hundreds, doesn't go for incredibly common, it doesn't even go as common.

Ofcause this is a minor scale example, but it doesn't happen that often. It depends a lot on which culture and society one are from to make this call i think. In fx. Islamistic countries it never happens.

Sorry but those stereotypes just do not work in life.

A nice guy with a good smelling cologne can do just the same and violence against women is VERY common in teenager pairings, especially in highschool.

Because it IS a guy trying to kill a girl and those situations are common. VERY common. Especially in that age group.

Yes. Because it is exactly a male threatening his girlfriend with a gun over her wanting to break up with him.

Buffy DID have problems with male authority(her father having left them, angel turning evil right after having sex with her, her first crush turning evil and dying, etc) and there ARE situations in S2 where she overreacts because she is being subjective, but this situation deserves no different reaction. The guy is clearly in the wrong and situation clearly(till you find out about possession) seems to be about a romance dispute between an abusive boyfriend and the girlfriend that wants to break it off. There's no other way to interpret i

Its common in many countries over europe. USA is far more common in those kinds of things, but its more like you are living in more sheltered and balanced circle of people than others did.

Violence against females is INCREDIBLY common all over the world. I suggest you to read this. Its far more common than you imagine.

Islamistic countries it never happens.

Wrong, wrong and wrong.

Muslim religion doctrines actually ENCOURAGE hitting your wife if she is disobedient.

We talked about teenager pairings.

I know that women getting beaten is more common, but in teenager pairings, i find it hard to believe. In islamistic countries, teenager girls are not being beaten by there teenager guys, because they don't have any. . .

Vampire Diaries Quotes

You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for. But for right now, I want you to forget that this happened. Can't have people knowing I'm in town yet. Goodnight, Elena.

Damon

Damon: You know what they are? Children. Like lighting a candle's going to make everything OK, or even saying a prayer. Or pretending Elena's not going to end up just like the rest of us murdering vampires. Stupid, delusional, exasperating little children. And I know what you're going to say: 'It makes them feel better, Damon.' So what? For how long? A minute, a day? What difference does it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be. And a rock with a birthday carved into it that I'm pretty sure is wrong. So thanks, friend. Thanks for leaving me here to babysit. Because I should be long gone by now. I didn't get the girl, remember? I'm just stuck here fighting my brother and taking care of the kids. You owe me big.
Alaric: I miss you too, buddy.
