TV Ratings Report: Scary News for Scream Queens

at .

Fox is having serious problems trying to scare up viewers for Scream Queens.

The Ryan Murphy-produced drama garnered just 2.9 total viewers on Tuesday night, along with a 1.1 rating among 18-49-year old olds.

The series is now down 27 percent and 35 percent, respectively, from a premiere that wasn’t all that popular to begin with.

The race may now be on between Scream Queens and Minority Report to determine which new fall show is canceled first.

Elsewhere on Fox, Grandfathered (3.8 million/1.1 rating) decreased by 28 and 27 percent from its debut, while The Grinder (3.1 million/1.0 rating) fell 40 and 33 percent. Double ouch.

The Flash Season 2 Episode 1, meanwhile, aired to 3.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating, solid numbers that were still down from last year’s huge debut; while iZombie Season 2 Episode 1 remained relatively even from its June finale with 1.7 million viewers.

Over on CBS, NCIS (16.6 million/2.1 rating) dropped a tenth, NCIS: New Orleans (14 million/1.7 rating ) held firm and Limitless (9.6 million/1.7 rating) slipped 10 percent.

And on ABC, The Muppets (4.9 million/1.6 rating) dropped 16 and 20 percent, Fresh Off the Boat (4.9 million/1.8 rating) went up a tenth and Agents of SHIELD (4.3 million/1.6 rating) went down by 12 percent and a tenth.
