Burn Notice

John C. McGinley is trading in his white coat for a bullet proof vest.

The former Scrubs star will play a key role on season six of Burn Notice, The Huffington Post reports, coming on board the second new episode this summer as Tom Card, the CIA training officer who served as a mentor for Jeffrey Donovan's Michael Westen.

Taryn Manning (Hawaii Five-0, Sons of Anarchy) will also guest star on episode two of season six, playing a prisonmate of Fiona's named Nicole.

Finally, Anthony Ruivivar (guest-starring stints on The Good Wife, American Horror Story) will also play a role on this installment: as a Mexican drug cartel kingpin named Montero.

USA has not announced a return date yet for Burn Notice, but look for it in June or July.
