Daisy wakes up in the Framework to find Ward in her bed. She tries to use her powers on him, but they're gone. Ward calls her Skye and hands her a badge with the Hydra logo on it.
Ward and Daisy arrive at Hydra headquarters. Daisy searches for Simmons in the Hydra computer system and finds out she's deceased. Simmons pops out of a grave and says she was murdered.
Simmons flags down a car driven by a woman named Julia. They pull up to an Inhuman checkpoint but the only ID Simmons has is from S.H.I.E.L.D. When Julia sees it she kicks Simmons out of the car.
May leads a briefing at Hydra headquarters. Ward and Daisy are sent to interrogate an Inhuman named Jason, who is actually Senator Nadeer's brother, Vijay.
Coulson teaches a class about the history of Hydra. A student is pulled out of his class to be tested for Inhuman DNA.
May walks in on Vijay's interrogation and pulls a gun on him when he mentions Bahrain. In this reality, May didn't kill the girl, and the girl went on to kill many others in Cambridge as a result. This incident is what led to the persecution of Inhumans.
Simmons uses a computer to track down Coulson, but he doesn't remember her. Simmons tries to tell Coulson about the Framework, but he kicks her out and report her as a Subversive.
Fitz, now a powerful Hydra scientist known as the Doctor, performs cruel experiments on Vijay while Daisy watches. May walks in and reports Coulson's phone call about Simmons to Fitz. Daisy meets up with Simmons, but they're interrupted by Ward.
Ward reveals that he's a member of the resistance and helps Simmons and Daisy get away from Hydra. Ward discovered Daisy's Inhuman DNA and joined the resistance to protect her.
May shows Fitz Vijay's fake ID, which was made for him by a Hydra mole: Ward. Simmons and Daisy discover that their escape route from the Framework has been cut off.
Fitz reports to Madame Hydra: yet another incarnation of Aida. They kiss. Daisy visits Coulson and gets him to remember her name.
