We have our second Charmed one, you guys!
According to Deadline, Sarah Jeffrey has been cast as one of the three sisters on The CW's reboot of the 1998-2006 series.
The 21-year-old will play Madison, who is described is conflicted when her witchcraft interferers with her aspirations of getting into an exciting sorority.
The CW describes the reboot as follows: “This fierce, funny, feminist reboot of the original series centers on three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches."
"Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy, and maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.”
The pilot will be penned by Jessica O'Toole and Amy Rardin.
Jeffery has previously appeared in the likes of Shades of Blue, Wayward Pines and Rogue.
It was announced earlier this week that Melonie Diaz had landed the role of Mel in the pilot which is likely to go into production within the next few weeks once the casting process has been completed.
News of the reboot has not gone down well with some of the fans and some of the cast members of the original series.
Holly Marie Combs wrote the following on Twitter just last month when the pilot was announced: "Here’s the thing. Until you ask us to rewrite it like Brad Kern did weekly don’t even think of capitalizing on our hard work."
"Charmed belongs to the 4 of us, our vast amount of writers, crews and predominantly the fans. FYI you will not fool them by owning a title/stamp. So bye."
