Damon won't die, people... The writers are smart enough to avoid that because he is a bulk of the viewership (don't get offended by that, obsessed fans - its true)

I can't wait for the next show, I hope they don't kill Damon, he is part of what makes the show such a great series.

I don't think they will kill him and if they do then they'll soon revive him in some way...but if he dies, it opens up more storyline and character developments, because we'll start to see how much Elena does care about Damon and she will be devastated if he dies.
