The Flash Season 4: FIRST LOOK!

at .  Updated at . Comments

Iris West is struggling to move on.

That much was revealed in the official trailer for The Flash Season 4, and it was rather heartbreaking to watch.

Barry Enters the Speed Force - The Flash Season 3 Episode 23

Candice Patton performs the opening voiceover, and she absolutely kills it.

Just when things seemed to be going well for her and Barry, disaster struck, and he was forced to make the ultimate sacrifice by leaving his friends and loved ones behind and making his way to the Speed Force prison.

Thankfully, a new villain enters the fold, and he/she makes a bold declaration to Team Flash: Hand over Barry, or the city will fall.

It's a lofty thing to ask when you consider the fact that Barry is, like, eons away and getting him back will be tough.

Really, Barry? - The Flash Season 3 Episode 22

When has Cisco and the gang ever turned down a challenge? The team was all too happy to find a way to bring Barry back to Central City.

What was odd about the whole thing was that Caitlin seemed back to normal after everything that went on with Killer Frost on Season 3

Yes, we're surprised. Maybe the first episode back will wind up being a dream because it looks like the team track and brings Barry back a little too quickly.

Stunned - The Flash Season 3 Episode 23

Having the team back together would be cool, but it's going to take a lot more than an episode to do so.

The Flash Quotes

Captain Cold: Make the plan. Execute the plan.
[King Shark appears]
Barry: Expect the plan to go off the rails.

Barry: I love you, Iris.
Iris: Oh. I love you, too.
Barry: When we were kids I loved you before I even know what the word love meant and then my mom died and I had to go live with the girl I had a crush on. Look. There were so many times I wanted to tell you; Jr. Prom, when I went away to college, when I came back from college, nights that we stayed up talking, all the birthdays, all the Christmases, but I, I never did. I kept it in. After I lost my mom and my dad, I was afraid that if you didn't feel the same way, I would lose you, too. That's the irony. I was so scared of losing you that I did. I know I've had our whole lives to tell you this and you're with Eddie now and I know that and I know my timing couldn't be any worse, but I just... I couldn't lie to you anymore. I'm sorry.
