Scandal Promo: Pressing the Flesh

President Mellie Grant will be trying to keep the peace between the United States of America and the Middle East on Scandal Season 7 Episode 2. 

President Rashad of Basran attends Mellie's first state dinner, and he is not impressed with how the POTUS handled the way the American hero was let go. 

With Olivia worrying about everything that could go wrong, she put Jake to work on a dangerous plan that put someone close to them in the firing line. 

In the preview for the episode we get to see Rashad doling out some shade at Olivia, and considering she's one of the most influential people in the world, it should be fun to see if he gets away with it. 

Also attending the party will be Quinn Perkins and Associates who are looking to kill two birds with one stone and garner some clients for the failing firm. 

Will Olivia be able to put in a good word for them, or should they just go back to the drawing board?

We already know that Tony Goldwyn is directing the episode, but there's no word yet on whether he will appear as Fitz. 

He was missed on Scandal Season 7 Episode 1, so it would be good to catch up with him now that he's in Vermont.
