Riverdale Promo: Cooper Chaos

at .  Updated at . Comments

Chaos and confusion have corrupted the town of Riverdale on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 4.

Riverdale is spiraling out of control! After the attacks on Moose and Midge, and the attempt on Ethel, tensions are rising and people are turning against each other. A war is brewing.

But, at the center of the chaos, a killer is leaving clues to toy with everyone's favorite "Nancy Drew" investigator.

Why is the killer doing these attacks for Betty?

That is the big question looming from the latest teaser. The Black Hood has sent Betty an envelope filled with strange coded markings. He wants her to play a game.

She's determined to solve the puzzle, but this could be a trap. Especially as the masked gunman lurks nearby in the library with her. Even Alice is worried about the danger this could involve.

North Vs. South - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 5

The battle lines between North and South Riverdale also seem to be drawn.

Archie's Red Circle group will do whatever it takes to stop The Black Hood. In fact, he wants to end the gunman's life himself. Though, from the look of the promo, his gun-totting, graffiti-making ways might've started trouble with the Southside Serpents.

There's rain, leather jackets and a stand-off between both sides of town. Prepare yourselves, Riverdale fans. We might have a rumble on our hands.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 4 Quotes

Betty: These symbols look so familiar to me. It’s like I’ve seen them before and it’s driving me crazy I can’t figure out where.
Toni: Maybe if you loosened your ponytail?
[They all stare at her dumbfounded]
Toni: What? That was a joke, guys.
Kevin: Betty’s ponytail is iconic and beyond reproach.
Betty: Kev, it’s fine. At this point, I’m willing to try anything.
[She lets down her hair]

Betty: Because of what it says, Jughead! Because of what he wrote...that I inspired him. I inspired all of this.
Jughead: You think people are going to blame you for all of this?
Betty: Not people, just one person.
Jughead: Archie? For what? For writing a speech that this lunatic has twisted around and really messed with you, and messed with the town. Yeah, Archie is definitely shook but he knows who the bad guys are and you’re not one of the bad guys. You’re Betty Cooper, like “Nancy Drew” meets “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.”
