Madelaine Petsch and Ashleigh Murray were paired and ready to give us the scoop on Cheryl Blossom and Josie McCoy.

Part of that included exploring their friendship more deeply on Riverdale Season 2!

Syrup Sought - Riverdale Season 1 Episode 9

Where else can Cheryl go after burning down her own house, right?

Onward and upward out of the darkness, taking control of her life and embracing her light.

Of course, she's Cheryl, so that light won't exactly look like a beacon to the outside world.

The girls shared with us what they believed would be their characters' theme songs and what from the comics might get their blood pumping.

Commanding The Stage - Riverdale Season 1 Episode 6

Josie will be joining the River Vixens and more involved with the core four, as well as some other nuggets Ashleigh spilled during the conversation.

For some reason, the background noise on this one is painful, but it's worth the watch, so please enjoy listening Riverdale's own Cheryl and Josie in the video below.

And as always, be sure to watch Riverdale online to relive the first mysteries before the show returns this fall on The CW!

Riverdale Quotes

I’m sorry, Donna, but I’m the ultimate wild card. I am the daughter of The Black Hood. The nightmare from next door. I’m training with the FBI and I’m coming for you, you psycho b****! Not Joan, not Jonathan, not even Brett. Just you.

Betty

Cheryl: Ummm, did you have a lobotomy for breakfast? You’re wearing my signature color!
Toni: You don’t own the color red. Red existed before you.
Cheryl: Not at Riverdale High. Here, I invented red. I am red.
[Cheryl snaps her fingers and two girls stand behind her]
Cheryl: Sorry, but this school is not big enough for the both of us, faux-pink lady. And I was here first. Go to Centerville High or Westerberg, I don’t care. But you have until first bell Monday to clear every trace of yourself out of these halls. Copy?
[Cheryl flips her hair in Toni’s face and walks away]
