Orange is the New Black: Final Season Premiere Date Revealed

It's time to say goodbye to the ladies of Litchfield. 

Netflix has revealed that Orange is the New Black Season 7 -- the final season -- will debut Friday, July 26. 

All 13 episodes will be available to stream for fans, and the season will bring the story to a close for the beloved characters. 

In addition to a teaser of the ladies performing their own version of the show's theme song, Netflix has dropped some photos.

Above, Piper is a free woman, and ready to conquer the world, but how will she be able to be happy with the love of her life still behind bars?

It will make for a different feel. Piper will not be in the same orbit as the other woman ... unless she reoffends. 

There's also a beautiful shot of Taystee and Daya. Despite a lengthy trial, Taystee did not get to overturn her conviction and will spend the rest of her sentence behind bars. 

Her and Daya need to get accustomed to that if they want to move on with their lives.

Then there's Red and Nikki, who are heading off somewhere new. 

“After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison,” said series creator Jenji Cohan in a statement last year when the end date was announced. 

“I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black.”

Cindy Holland, Vice President, Original Content Netflix, said, “During production of Season 1, everyone involved with Orange Is The New Black felt like we knew a special secret we couldn’t wait to share with the world."

"Since then, we have laughed, cried, raged, and roared with the women of Litchfield, and every moment spent with them felt like borrowed time — too good to last forever/ We will be sad to say goodbye but we will definitely be going out on a high.”
