Henry Mills wants to craft a story for himself, and that's the reason why he says goodbye to Storybrooke.
On Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 1, the teenager makes the big decision to go around the other realms on his motorcycle.
His mission is to find his own story, and he believes he's not going to find it in Storybrooke.
In the first two scenes of Once Upon a Time Season 7, we say goodbye to Jared Gilmore and hello to Andrew J. West who will assume the role of Henry.
That's because of the huge time jump, which we get to see in the teaser. Henry is racing through another realm many years after his meeting with Regina.
Disaster strikes when he knocks Cinderella off the road, and she looks a bit worse for wear. We already know that Henry and Cinderella have a kid, so it looks like this scene could be their first meeting.
We never got to see any footage of Regina, Hook or Rumple with the new curse in play. In fact, there was absolutely nothing about the curse revealed.
The purpose of the scenes is clearly to show what Henry had been doing since he went off on his own journey.
As previously reported, Once Upon a Time will reset for Season 7 with new characters joining the show and the location moving to Seattle.
Jennifer Morrison will not return as Emma Swan, but her story was wrapped up at the close of Once Upon a Time Season 6.
