Natasha Lyonne is stuck in a nightmare in the first official trailer for Netflix's Russian Doll.
The Orange is the New Black favorite plays Nadia on the upcoming series, an "anti-hero who finds that she is stuck in a loop. She is living the same night over and over again and can’t seem to get out of her own way. She’s troubled, but hopes she is one of the good guys."
How would you feel if you were the guest of honor at a seemingly inescapable party in New York City?
The trailer alone shows some of the creative ways in which Nadia's life comes to an end before restarting the day to try and find the right way out.
It's all very reminiscent of Tru Calling ... if anybody remembers that Fox series. Yes, it was canceled too soon.
Russian Doll was created by Lyonne alongside Amy Poehler and Leslye Headland, so we're willing to bet the series will be filled with witty one-liners and funny scenarios.
It also stars Greta Lee, Yul Vazquez, Elizabeth Ashley, and Charlie Barnett.
Russian Doll Season 1 will span eight episodes, and all episodes will launch on Netflix on February 1.
