It's a new beginning for Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) on House of Cards Season 6.
But what's her first big act as President of the United States?
According to the latest trailer released by Netflix, she's going against her late husband, Frank.
"My first 100 days as president have been difficult,” she says. “I lost my husband… we were about to celebrate 30 years together.”
What's the most shocking thing she says?
“Here’s the thing: Whatever Francis told you the last five years? Don’t believe a word of it.”
If you thought Claire's reign as POTUS was going to come without some big drawbacks, you are sadly mistaken.
New series regulars Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear are well and truly present in the trailer, and their characters Annette and Bill Shepherd do not have many nice words for Claire.
"Frances is dead," Claire says to them, admitting that whatever deal they had with Francis was rendered void when her husband died.
However, it doesn't seem like these new characters are ready to play nice.
Instead, we witness gunshots being shot at Claire's car.
Could she find herself dying before the series concludes?
We'll have to tune in to find out!
