The previews for the upcoming second half of DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 is full of staccato shots that cutaway before you can really make out what's in front of you.
The one thing that struck me was this shot of Nate and Amaya that was buried inside a super fast montage.
They're not only bare-chested, but they're clasping hands.
However they got to this particular place, it seems to come from a place much deeper than a sexual liaison.
As a huge fan of both of these characters, I'm on board with that.
What I sincerely hope doesn't happen is the relationship that was building between Amaya and Mick is written to be anything other than a deep friendship it was growing into before the break.
No (NOOO) love triangles please. Thank you.
Nate also appears to name the trio of Darhk, Merlyn and "the speedster" as the Legion of Doom. Have they really not connected the dots between the fella who terrorized Barry Allen in Central City and "the speedster"?
That kind of surprises me. Wasn't Stein there for his reveal? At the very least he had to get some of the scoop on fake Wells and Eobard Thawne. Not knowing is ridiculous.
In the meantime, the doomy dudes will be doing what they do (we do not know exactly what that is, even if we know they're piecing something together to control time itself) while luring the Legends to 1969 to get whatever Rip Hunter has become.
Other than a sideburn-sporting indie filmmaker. They must be hoping he's doing something other than that in the time period, right?
Fingers crossed Rip's return will be better than his first spin around the universes with the Legends.
