Amazon Prime's next big TV show, Carnival Row, starring Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom will get underway on August 30, the streamer has announced.
Spanning eight episodes, the series is set in a Victorian fantasy world.
Mythical creatures fleeing their war-torn homeland have gathered in the city, and tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population.
Bloom plays the role of a police inspector named Rycroft Philostrate who is pushed to the limit as he tries to solve the murder of a faerie showgirl on Carnival Row.
Delevingne plays faerie, Vignette Stonemoss, the woman Rycroft rekindles an affair with while investigating the murder.
But Vignette is hiding some secrets of her own, and one of them could derail the entire operation her lover is running.
The rest of the cast is rounded out by David Gyasi (Interstellar), Karla Crome (Under the Dome), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), and Tamzin Merchant (Salem).
Amazon has also dropped the first teaser for the series, but it doesn't give much away.
The full trailer will come in due course.
The official poster shows Bloom and Delevigne in character.
