Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford Walk and Talk with James Corden, Pay Homage to The West Wing

at .

The West Wing may have gone off the air in 2016.

But its influence will last forever at this point.

And its stars will always be remembered for the roles they played on that beloved NBC drama, even as each has gone on to many other very successful roles on television or in the movies.

The latest case in point:

Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford were guests on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night.

But they didn't just show up and discuss their latest projects. They helped the host hilariously introduce the program via a "walk and talk" just like the ones they used to engage in every week on The West Wing.

Topics of the skit ranged from Donald Trump to Cinco de Mayo... along with whether it made sense to do a West Wing sketch in the year 2016.

For fans of that series, it was everything we could have ever dreamed of and then some.

Janney, of course, played White House Press Secretary C.J. Cregg... while Whitford won an Emmy for Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman.

Watch and laugh and remember now:
