Gilmore Girls Revival Photos: They're Here!

at .  Updated at .

Well, would you look who's back! It's those adorable Gilmore Girls!

We know if you're anything like us, you're still rejoicing over the news that Lorelai and Rory are headed back to our televisions (or any device where you can play Netflix)!

While there is still no official date for the premiere of the Gilmore Girls Revival, tentatively titled, "Seasons," Netflix has released the first official photos for the world to see, and we've got them right here at TV Fanatic and word is the release will come during 2016. Yay!

Are Luke and Lorelai still in love? Is Rory CNN's newest anchor, as many believed she would be? Will Sookie EVER show up?

Take a look at the newest photos straight from Stars Hollow for the answers!

1. Luke and Loreai Are STILL Together...

...or at least that's our guess based on this hand-holding! But the news about their marital status? While they appear to be all smiles in this photo, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that they are NOT married! (We know, we're gasping too!)

2. Lorelai and Rory in the Gilmore Kitchen

What could the ladies be talking about over takeout (and Pop Tarts)? Rory's love life, perhaps? With Dean, Jess, and Logan all set to make appearances, there's no doubt Rory will lean on her mom for some advice about her former loves.

3. Rory Gilmore: Teacher?

When we last saw Rory she was a young journalist, heading off to follow (future President) Barak Obama on the campaign trail! So what exactly would send her back to a Chilton classroom? We'll have to wait to find out!

4. Stars Hollow: The Musical!

We finally got confirmation about Sutton Foster's role in the revival...she'll be the star of Stars Hollow: The Musical, alongside fellow Broadway alums with lyrics written by Amy Sherman-Palladino herself. Where do we pre-order this soundtrack?!

5. Emily Gilmore, Widowed

What's to come of Emily without Richard by her side? Will she ever be able to move on? This photo shows Emily wearing much more muted and darker tones than we normally see the eldest Gilmore girl wearing, leading us to believe that this photo may be from, "Winter" the episode which will tackle Richard's recent passing head on.

6. The New Friday Night Dinner?

Emily's making the drinks now, rather than Richard, but beyond that it looks like Friday Night Dinners at the Gilmore house are still intact!

7. A New Town Meeting!

What would Stars Hollow be without Taylor Doose calling his regular Town Meetings at Miss Patty's? We're so glad to see this tradition has continued. Perhaps this is the meeting where Taylor breaks the news about Stars Hollow: The Musical?

8. BONUS NEWS! SOOKIE IS BACK!

Melissa McCarthy recently announced on the Ellen Degeneres Show that she will, indeed, be reprising her role as Sookie. After much speculation and scheduling conflicts, thrilling fans and warming the hearts of everyone who held out hope that we would see the eccentric clumsy chef, it all came together in the end.

Gilmore Girls Quotes

Lorelai: Hi, Mom.
Emily: Lorelai, my goodness, this is a surprise. Is it Easter already?
Lorelai: (sounding uncomfortable) No, I just, uh, finished up my business class and I thought I would stop by.
Emily: To see me?
Lorelai: Yes.
Emily: Well, isn't that nice. Come in.
Lorelai: Thanks.
(They walk to the living room.)
Lorelai: The place looks great.
Emily: It hasn't changed.
Lorelai: Well, there you go. How are the girls at the bridge club?
Emily: Old.
Lorelai: Well... good.
(Lorelai and Emily sit, opposite to each other)
Emily: You said you were taking a business class?
Lorelai: Yeah, mmhmm, yeah. I'm taking a business class at the college twice a week. I'm sure I told you.
Emily: Well, if you're sure then you must have. (she pauses) Would you like some tea?
Lorelai: I would love some coffee.
Richard: (calling from another room) Emily? I'm home.
Emily: We're in here.
(Richard walks into the living room)
Lorelai: Hi, Dad.
Richard: What is it, Christmas already?

Lorelai: (speaking to Luke) Wow, you look nice. Really nice.
Luke: I had a meeting earlier at the bank. They like collars. You look nice, too.
Lorelai: I had a flagellation to go to.
Luke: So, what'll you have?
Lorelai: Coffee, in a vat.
Rory: I'll have coffee also. And chili fries.
Luke: That's quite a refined palate you got there.
(Luke walks to the counter)
Lorelai: (to Rory) Behold the healing powers of a bath.
