19 TV Deaths That Made Us Jump For Joy

There was so much suffering at the hands of this bastard. Whipping, beating, and eventually raping Jamie were his most egregious atrocities. Watching Jamie gut him with a sword was beyond satisfying but almost merciful considering all he'd done.

There was lots to hate about Anika even if she did provide some entertainment when she and Cookie went at it. Still, she slept with Hakeem and later had his baby which was gross. But the worst of her actions was when she killed Rhonda out of nothing but pure jealousy. It was a shock and put her on our most hated character list. When she died at the hands of ghost Rhonda, it was the sweetest moment ever!

This is the man responsible for Tom Keen's death. Even though we celebrated when Red shot him, we think he got off too easy. Ripping off his fingernails one by one would have been a nice start. And the worst thing about it all is that Liz decided to befriend Garvey's "daughter" Jennifer and betray Red instead of inflicting some sort of wrath on the people responsible for her husband's death. Wasn't that the whole reason she sent her daughter away and went on that soul searching trip? To avenge Tom's death? #DimwittedLiz to the max.

Theo Galavan had to be one of the worst characters ever in the history of Gotham. It was bad enough that he killed Gertrud but when he knifed Jerome it was a moment of utter shock and betrayal. The Maniax and all the fun they brought died in an instant so when Penguin inflicted his brutal wrath on Galavan with Jim's help, we couldn't help but jump for joy!

Nina was a likeable character, but when it was revealed she was a traitor, we couldn't wait for Jack to find out. After she killed Terri, it was inevitable that her end was near. She deserved to die, and when she did, we cheered!

He may have been suave as hell, but he was evil to the max. We were thrilled when he finally dropped dead after having half his face blown off, but what amazed us, even more, was that he actually had the wherewithal to straighten his tie before his life came to a horrifying and satisfying halt.

TV shows are full of bastards, but this guy ranked right up there at the top. He deserved to die for every wicked thing he ever did but most especially for killing Hershel. We couldn't be happier when he was stabbed by Michonne and then shot by Lilly. It was a fitting end to one of the most hated characters on TV.

There have been so many characters to hate on Game of Thrones, but Ramsay was one of the worst. He was a brutal bastard who deserved to feel every piece of skin his beloved dogs tore off him. What made his death even more satisfying was seeing Sansa stand by cooly to watch his demise.

Azazel was the cause of much heartbreak and suffering for the Winchester family. The games he played with Sam and Dean were brutal so when the ghost of John Winchester showed up to save the day allowing Dean to grab the Colt and shoot Azazel, it was one of the happiest days of our television viewing lives.

Agent Stahl was the worst of the worst. She was a major pain in the butt for SAMCRO but what made her so hated was how she went about her business as an ATF agent. She stepped outside the lines of law numerous times and didn't care what happened as the result of her corrupt actions. When Opie shot her in the head for all she'd done including being responsible for his own wife's death, it was a great day in television history!

Baz had no redeeming qualities. He was arrogant, mean, and a horrible father. He cared more about money and his lover, Lucy than he did about anything else. While the Cody clan mourned his loss, we brought out the champagne and toasted for a murder well-deserved.

The Boston Reaper tormented the FBI for years as he piled up the bodies, including Hotch's wife. When Hotch finally caught Foyet, he flew into a blind rage killing the murderer with his bare hands. Although shocking, it was good to see Foyet get his due.

This nutjob was a psychic of epic proportions who likes to use his powers of mind control to make women bend to his will sexually. We imagined a million different ways this guy could have met his death, but Jessica snapped his neck in the most skillful of ways thus freeing all those affected by his cruel games. Bravo!

Who didn't cheer when Tyrion found the most opportune time to kill his rotten father? It was enough that Twyin treated Tyrion like garbage on a regular basis but having sex with the love of Tyrion's life after forbidding Tyrion to be with her was too much. Tywin deserved a much more tortuous death than the one he got, but we were happy not to have his smarmy self on our screens anymore.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold, and it certainly took Penguin long enough to exact his revenge on the woman who murdered his mother. There were many times he could have ended her life, but gutting her in the warehouse in front of Barbara was cruel and oh so Oswald.

A child of incest who was nothing more than a spoiled, smarmy brat was hated by all the moment he showed up on our screens. The hate grew as he became more and more cruel to those who didn't deserve it, so when he was poisoned and choked to death on his wedding day? All we can say is cheers!

Although hot as hell, Pierce/Cain was so smug, we couldn't stand him. He also killed Charlotte, albeit unintentionally because his true target was Amenadiel. Still, he caused way too much havoc for our tastes, and we cheered blissfully when Lucifer finally ended this jackass' life.

Malvo was like a tornado on steroids wreaking havoc on everyone's lives. As lucky as he always seemed to be, it was a day for celebration when he was finally shot and killed.

Lucifer might have provided us with endless hours of entertainment, but the truth is he was an evil bastard whose time had come. If Dean wouldn't have killed him, he most assuredly would have killed Dean. Besides, even though Lucifer is gone, we are still blessed with Mark Pelligrino although as a different character.
