Bills calls on Sookie and asks her to kill him using her fairy light. Sookie is not sure she can do it. Bill and her talk about the life he wants for her and tried to explain his choice to die.
Eric tells Pam to let Sarah go. He lets her in on his plan to kill Gus and take New Blood for their own. Gus learns of what they have done but before he can act, Eric takes out his armed guards. Eric kills Gus as he tries to flee Fangtasia.
Jess comes to see Bill with Hoyt. Bill asks Hoyt of his intentions to marry Jess. Jess takes exception to this and tells Bill this is not how she imagined getting engaged. Bill explains how he never got to give his daughter away in marriage. Jess decides to marry Hoyt that day.
Sookie meets Bridget then fills Jason in on Bill's wish for her. Jason gets a call from Hoyt asking him to be his best man. Jess calls Sookie asking to borrow a dress.
Andy, Arlene and Holly attend the wedding along with Jason, Sookie and Bill. Bill walks Jess down the aisle and gives her away. She later tells Jason she approves of him and Bridget sleeping together if he decides to. She then pays a visit to Reverend Daniels and asks him about God and if she was a mistake.
She calls Bill to tell him to meet her at the cemetery. Sookie can't use her light to kill him. She can't let go of who she is, but kills Bill with a shovel handle in the end.
Eric films an infomercial for New Blood. Says how they never caught Sarah Newlin but did manage to synthesize her blood into New Blood. Flash forward we see them opening the stock exchange. Then we see Sookie welcoming guests to Thanksgiving dinner. Back to Eric and Pam, we see they are back running Fangtasia and offering up Sarah Newlin for money. Sarah hallucinates and is haunted by Steve.
We close with the dinner table outside at Sookie's as she sits, pregnant and next to a new man.
