Today on The Young and the Restless, Alistair lets it slip that Gloria was blackmailed into marrying Jeffrey. At the Abbott mansion, Jeff tries to convince Gloria to move out of the mansion because he can no longer compete with John’s memory. What begins as a name-calling battle between Jeff and Gloria ends with a kiss.

Gloria finally comes to her senses and leaves before Jeff can kiss her again. Alistair prods Jill and Kay for information on John, hoping it will help him get Gloria to fall for him.

Jill and Kay play along in hopes of finding out what Jeff is holding over Gloria’s head. Michael is fed up with the battle over the mansion and disgusted with everyone involved.

Michael declares boundaries with Gloria, letting her know she is on her own. Adam runs into Nikki at the G.C.A.C. and asks to join her. Adam asks Nikki about Hope’s time in Genoa City. Nikki tries to gently share the truth with him. Neil sees Victor is distressed and lonely and tries to cheer him up to no avail.

Victor wonders how things are going between Victoria and Adam.

Neil answers honestly that Victoria is defensive and Adam would rather she weren’t around. David opens up to Brad about his gambling issue and asks him not to say anything to Nikki about the poker game. David promises Nikki he will call a therapist and start getting help for his addiction.

Meanwhile, Brad sets another plan into motion to set David up with gambling.
