Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is happy not to be in prison anymore. Nick gets online to read up on the news going on in the world. They find out Victor (Eric Braeden) is being written up as a suspect in the death of Ji Min.

At the hospital, Victor tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that they are going to bring her home today. Out in the hallway, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is on the phone with David Chow (Vincent Irizarry).

In court, Ben Hollander (Billy Warlock) tells Jack (Peter Bergman), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) that the ethics committee wants to continue questioning him today.

In Genoa City, Gloria (Judith Chapman) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) celebrate Jack's prolonged exposure in the hotseat and gear up to listen to the rest of the hearing online.

Phyllis and Nick go over to the hospital. Gloria tells Kevin that John Abbott's cellmate's son still hasn't gotten back to her about the letter addressed "To my beloved Gloria."

She asks Kevin to track down the letter for her, and he reluctantly agrees.

The hearing is underway. The ghost of John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) is there and Jack says unequivocally that he didn't do anything to dissuade the district attorney from charging him for fraudulent ownership of Jabot.

Nick talks to Victoria for the last time before they transport her home, and expresses his concern to Victor about Nikki moving back home.  Phyllis does the same with Nikki.

Jack continues to deny having anything to do with Ji Min's death and asks permission to address the committee, and they grant his request, after a break.

Nikki goes over to David's hotel room at the club. He has brought her red roses and booked a massage for her and arranged a whole host of other things.

Kevin reports to Gloria that Todd Scheller is MIA. Gloria complains that Jack is being given another chance to make a statement, and wonders why someone as nice as Sharon can stand by such a jackass.

At the ranch, Victor tells Nick he has three rooms made up, for Victoria, for Nikki, and one for the nurse. The nurse shows up and is pretty hot.

Nikki returns to David's room in a bathrobe from her massage. She's much more relaxed. David has ordered her some breakfast as well, but she can't eat.

Nick notices that Victor has placed magazines and flowers in Nikki's room and bought all of her favorite foods and says he's trying to get her back. Jack decides that he's going to go on a preemptive strike.

Victor gets a phone call at home. It's a reporter who wants him to comment on his involvement with Ji Min's death. He gets angry and hangs up.

At the hearing, Jack begins his statement but he doesn't actually say anything specific, per Ben's request. Sharon doesn't look very happy.

Gloria is pissed after hearing the apology. But she's distracted because Todd Scheller, Jr., comes by with the letter she was looking for. It's written in John's handwriting.
