Mindy is confronted by a police officer when she gives his daughter birth control pills.

Peter rescues a rabbi from some hooligans on the subway and is mistaken for being Jewish. The gratious rabbi visits him at work and invies him to dinner. Danny fails to tell him he is not Jewish because of the promise of new patients from the rabbi's temple. He aks Peter to accompany him to the dinner.

At the dinner Danny struggles to appear Jewish, while the rabbi's son sees something about Peter's anatomy that does not look quite kosher either.

The police officer's daughter Jenny takes Mindy's advice to be her own woman. She leaves home and asks to stay with Mindy until she can get on her feet. Things go bad when she throws a sex party and Mindy is forced to call Jenny's dad.

Danny and Mindy rekindle their friendship. Danny begns to have feelings for her again, but Mindy is interested in the police officer Charlie.
