The Good Doctor Season 4 Episode 11 is about overcoming fear, especially the fear of being alone.

Shaun and Morgan have finally convinced the husband of a comatose cancer patient to disconnect her life support, but when her thumb moves her husband becomes convinced she can wake up. The team quickly discovers that she has an aggressive tumor, which her husband insists be removed. When it is, she wakes up.

This seems to be a miracle, until Shaun discovers that Dani's awakening is temporary and she will go back into a coma in 24 hours. Elias refuses to accept this and is afraid to let her go. Morgan asks Dani to sign a DNR so that Elias can move on after her death.

Meanwhile, Dr. Glassman wants to do a complex surgery on a patient with a severely deformed back. Andrews thinks Glassman is looking for ways to not feel empty. Glassman ignores this and talks the kid into overcoming his fears and having the surgery.

And finally, Lea decides to stand up to a tow truck driver who refuses to leave her car alone when she parks in the wrong spot, and Shaun is afraid to cross her.
