Anthony remains missing two years later. Henry and Luke are handling their anguish their own ways. Henry has bouts of anger while Luke drinks. A vigil is held at a shrine set up for Anthony. Henry is obsessed with finding a tree the leaf of which Anthony left for him. Henry screams at Luke and Catherine that he is not crazy. He slaps Luke, who storms off. A poster drive is being organized for Anthony. Helen's boyfriend Frank leaves her. Mutilated cats are found near where Anthony went missing. Luke and Helen chase down tips that come to their search-for-Anthony Facebook page. While putting up posters out of town, Henry and Catherine stop at Duke's, an old family haunt. Henry flashes back to when he ran into a woman there that he had known professionally and gave her some money. Henry explodes at Catherine while she was reminiscing. Luke figures out that Helen is pregnant with Frank's child. She wanted to get pregnant again. The waitress at the Drummondville restaurant where Luke and Helen are eating says they think they've seen Anthony. He had been coming in for takeout. Cats  disappeared from a neighborhood near the park two years previously. Luke and Helen call Detective Bowden, and Cooper races to meet them. The boy was staying with a stripper, Anne-Marie Duval. A fellow stripper said Anne-Marie was received texts that stressed her out. When Anne-Marie was brought in, it was clear the boy wasn't Anthony. Luke tracks down Jim Chilton, who left a message threatening Henry on the Facebook page. Luke decides to go back through Henry's career looking for suspects. Susan tells Henry about the buried cat. Luke awakes convinced Anthony has returned. Henry sees Anthony's cat drawing. The neighbor's dog leads them to the tree Henry was seeking.
